Thank you for choosing McGregor ISD! The district welcomes out-of-district transfer students at our amazing schools, space permitting. Applicants will need to complete the New Student Transfer Request form below and submit their current student attendance, discipline, and grade records for evaluation. Admission of out-of-district applicants will only be approved if campus staffing and space availability can accommodate our increasing student population. Please be aware that district transportation is not available for out-of-district students.
At some point during the school year, the district will close the transfer window. However, as space becomes available at each grade level, we will consider accepting out-of-district transfers throughout the year. Please fill out the transfer form and you will be added to our waiting list. You will be contacted when space is available to see if you want to move forward with the transfer for the 2024-2025 school year or have it apply for the 2025-2026 school year.
The out-of-district transfer window for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. We will post the window closing date once it is determined.
Notification of out-of-district enrollment approvals/denials to parent/guardian
Notification of the approvals/denial of student transfers will be made by the campus principal and superintendent or their designee within 10 to 15 business days. Notification will be by email. Please confirm that you have provided the correct email prior to submitting your application.
