• The Board of Trustees approved calling a bond election for May 4, 2024, at their meeting on Thursday, February 8. The proposed $82 million bond package will address various facility challenges across the district and will create new student opportunities.

The proposal was developed by the Facility Planning Committee, made up of a cross-section of our community. They met over the course of several months to study and prioritize the needs of our school district. This has been part of a process the district administration began over a year ago that included countless hours of programming meetings, facility and growth studies, as well as gathering community input.

The bond package encompasses several components:

    • New Junior High School

    • Safety Upgrades for Playgrounds

    • District-wide improvements, including HVAC and Roofing

    • New Career & Technical Education Opportunities:
    - New ag barn
    - Facility for auto mechanic program that doubles as a maintenance hub for our district’s bus fleet
    - Renovated space for nursing program

    • New Multi-purpose Gymnasium

Isbill Jr. High Traffic route
  • Parents of Isbill Jr. High students: Please be aware of our traffic changes for the drop-off and pick-up of our students.

Car riders will be dropped off in front of the school on Van Buren Street. Pull over to the right side of the road and only let your child exit the passenger side doors. Do not stop in traffic to let your student out. North bound traffic should turn right into the gym parking and release students in front of the gym. Students should then cross at the crosswalk. Please be aware of students crossing the road. Do not pass any school bus with flashing lights. Do not make U turns in front of the school. Tickets will be issued by McGregor PD.

Students walking to school will need to use the side walks and only cross the road at street corners and the crosswalk from the gym. Always be cautious of traffic.

Bus riders will enter the building through the gate at the north side of the building. If the gate is locked and there is no adult to open the gate they should walk to the office entrance.
