Online Registration for Returning MISD Students

McGregor ISD uses an online registration process for all returning MISD students within the Skyward Family Access portal.  Every MISD parent/guardian is issued a Skyward Family Access account.  This account is used to complete all registration forms electronically (emergency contact form, student handbook form, emergency release form, and more).  The district's online registration process has eliminated the time and funds to make and distribute thousands of paper copies.  The online forms have saved time for MISD staff and parents and they ensure our campuses have the most up-to-date information about our students.  Once the registration forms are complete and submitted, they will only need to be updated each year thereafter.  The online registration process is required for all MISD students.  Paper copies of forms will not be provided.

Parents must have their Family Access account login credentials in order to complete the registration forms.  If you do not remember your Family Access credentials, please use the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the Skyward login page.  Parents listed in Family #1 will be required to complete the online registration (see FAQ section at the bottom of this page for more information).

IMPORTANT for the 2017-2018 School Year:
Parents/guardians were sent a letter via email from the Skyward system regarding the online registration process for the 2017-18 school year.  The Online Registration portal is open now until June 30th.  It will open again on July 24th. The district strongly encourages parents/guardians to submit the online registration forms as soon as possible.  The information on our forms is crucial, therefore, students will not be given a class schedule or placed into a homeroom class until the registration forms are submitted.  Instructions for the new online registration process are available by clicking the link below.

Login to Family Access to begin the Online Registration process.  Click the “Returning Student Online Registration” link on the left hand side and complete the steps.  After the student’s registration is submitted successfully, you will receive an email confirming your Returning Student Online Registration has been submitted.

Frequently Asked Questions Concerning Online Registration

How will online registration work?  Parents of returning MISD students must have their Family Access account login information.  The Online Registration portal is open at specific times during the summer.  Please read the information in the third paragraph of this page to see when the portal opens.  When the portal is open, parents may login to the Skyward Family Access system and complete the registration forms for their student(s).  The district strongly encourages parents to complete the online registration forms as soon as possible.  Students will not receive a class schedule or be placed into a homeroom class until their registration forms have been submitted.

Which parent can complete the online registration?  Either parent listed in Family #1 within Skyward can complete the online registration forms.  In joint custody situations, the parent listed in the Family #2 may contact the campus office to request a Family Access account in order to update their contact information; however, only a parent listed in Family #1 will be able to complete the full online registration process.  Please contact your child's campus office if you have questions.

What if I do not have access to a computer?  MISD campuses will have computers available for parents to use.  Please contact the campus office if bilingual assistance is needed to complete the registration process.

What if I have children on different campuses?  A parent can view all of their enrolled students within their one Family Access account.  Parents should login to their Family Access account and click the drop-down box located at the top of the page titled "All Students".  If you do not see all of your children listed, please call your child's campus office.  This verification must be done before beginning the online registration.
